About the CDC
The CDC gives structure to neighbourhood participation, helping channel local concerns into organised civic engagement.
The Community Development Committee (CDC) is a volunteer-based organisation that serves as the primary link between the people and the local government. Made up of elected community leaders from various Community Development Associations (CDAs), the CDC plays a vital role in grassroots governance, community mobilisation, and participatory development.
The CDC works closely with the Iru-VI LCDA administration to identify community needs, prioritise development projects, and help ensure that government programmes reach the people they are designed to serve.
