Paving the way for a cleaner, healthier Victoria Island.
The Executive Chairman of Iru-Victoria Island LCDA, Hon. Aminat Oluwakemi Alabi, continues to intensify efforts toward maintaining a clean and healthy environment across the council area.
Today, The Executive Chairman joined forces with the dedicated residents of Victoria Island LCDA for the Environmental Sanitation exercise, working together to create a safer, cleaner, and more sustainable community.
From Eko Hotel Roundabout to Ologun Agbaje, Saka Tinubu, and Oniru New Market, and residents actively engaged.
Through the Supervisor for Environment, Hon. Adetimi Durojaiye, and the Head of Department, Environmental Sanitation, Mr. Mayowa Aminu, the administration has sustained ongoing sensitization campaigns targeted at residents, traders, and business owners on the importance of environmental cleanliness and public health.
As part of these efforts, the Environmental Health Services Department has carried out continuous clearing of the canal linking Ologun Agbaje Street and Oju Olobun Street throughout the week.
The exercise was further supported by NYSC members serving within the LCDA, reinforcing the message that environmental sanitation is a shared and continuous responsibility.
This initiative aligns with the AOA Blueprint ACHIEVES Agenda, which prioritizes vital health and environmental sustainability within the LCDA.
Together with the good people of Victoria Island, we remain committed to a cleaner, safer, and healthier community.
Let's keep it clean.
