The Iru-VI LCDA Health & Environment Department successfully conducted a two-day free medical outreach program that served over 2,000 residents across all wards.
Services Provided
The outreach offered a comprehensive range of medical services:
- General medical consultations and check-ups
- Eye screening and free prescription glasses
- Dental examinations and basic treatments
- Blood pressure and diabetes screening
- Free medication for common ailments
- Health education sessions on preventive care
Partnership and Support
The program was made possible through partnerships with the Nigerian Medical Association (Lagos Chapter), PharmAccess Foundation, and several private hospitals within the LCDA.

The Executive Chairman, who visited multiple outreach points, reiterated the administration's commitment to accessible healthcare for all residents.
"Healthcare should not be a luxury. Every resident of Iru-VI LCDA deserves access to quality medical care regardless of their economic status."
Future Plans
Based on the success of this program, the Health Department has announced plans to conduct quarterly medical outreach programs and establish a mobile clinic service targeting underserved areas within the LCDA.
