With deep gratitude and a strong sense of responsibility, I was officially sworn in yesterday by His Excellency, the Governor of Lagos State, as the Executive Chairman of Iru-Victoria Island LCDA.
I extend my sincere appreciation to His Excellency, Mr. Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and the Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, for their visionary leadership and unwavering support. I also thank Rt. Hon. MudashiruObasa, Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, the Honourable Members of the House, our Honourable Commissioners, and other distinguished members of the Lagos State Executive Council.
To our revered traditional rulers, the Obas, Chiefs, and Community Leaders, I am deeply grateful for your blessings, wisdom, and continuous guidance.
To the dedicated outgoing Chairman of Iru-Victoria Island LCDA Hon. Rasheedat Abiodun Adu. The Civil servants and workforce of Iru-Victoria Island LCDA, I appreciate your steadfast service and commitment to the smooth running of our administration. I look forward to a productive and collaborative working relationship as we strive to deliver quality governance to our people.
My profound gratitude also goes to my family, friends, political associates, and supporters, whose prayers, encouragement, and belief in our shared vision have brought us this far.
As I begin this journey as the Executive Chairman of Iru-Victoria Island LCDA, I renew my pledge to serve with integrity, transparency, and unwavering dedication to the growth and prosperity of our community.
